LabVIEW development
Certified development of control, measurement and test systems.
Sekanina Electronics has more than 10 years of experience with LabVIEW and is certified by National Instruments as Certified LabVIEW Architect, Certified TestStand Architect and Certified LabVIEW Embedded Systems Developer. Our certifications are your guarantee of a partner with the competencies to develop complex software solutions and carry out testing at the highest quality.
We use LabVIEW and TestStand for various types of testing. One of our typical tasks is hardware testing during the development phase, where we design and implement control and measurement systems that help identify defects or shortcomings before the unit goes into production. We can also optimise existing projects or act as a knowledgeable sparring partner for your own developers.
What is LabVIEW?
LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) is a graphical programming language developed by National Instruments. The idea from the start in 1986 was that engineers should be able to program their own control and measurement systems without depending on software developers. Today, LabVIEW is used for test, measurement and control – and is a reliable way to acquire, process and store data from measurement instruments, for example for quality control and fault-finding in production.
How does TestStand work?
TestStand is a platform for managing and executing tests. With TestStand you develop and implement automated test sequences that can integrate modules from LabVIEW and other programming languages. When testing hardware with LabVIEW, TestStand is typically the framework in which tests are executed – managing sequences, operator flow, reports and traceability.
